Edward J. Fischbach, 80, of Holiday City South section of Berkeley Twp., NJ died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he lived in the Ramtown section of Howell Twp then Manchester Twp. before moving to Berkeley Twp. 11 years ago.

Edward was a fork lift operator at Lowenstein in Elizabeth, NJ for many years. After retiring from Lowenstein, he worked in Maintenance for the Howell Twp School System for the past 11 years. Mr. Fischbach was a life member and former Fire Chief of the Ramtown Fire Co. and was a member of the St. Paul Methodist Church in Brick, NJ. He also served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Predeceased by his wife Joyce (nee Donnelly) in January and his parents Julius and Florence (nee Collard) Fischbach. Surviving are his son and daughter in law Wayne and Tammy Fischbach of Toms River and 2 grandchildren Brandon and Casey.
