Edward Horn, 64, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at his home in Newnan. He was born September 4, 1949 in Newnan, GA to the late Wayne Hoffman Horn and Vada Cole Horn. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jones Horn and his siblings Clara Elizabeth Horn, William Hoffman Horn and Buddy Lewis Horn. Edward wore many hats during his working career. He was one of the Voices of the City of Homes with radio station WCOH. His other ventures included The Postal Center at Shenandoah, H&R Block, Help Services, and Terminal Manager for Yellow Freight. He was also a State of Georgia Industrial Fire Safety Instructor. He was a longtime and active member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Along with his wife, he was also very active in the local Relay for Life. Survivors include son, Daniel Horn & wife June of Marietta; daughter, Heather Horn of Columbus; sisters, Annie (and Hank) Berkowitz of Newnan, Priscilla West of Covington and Pauline Harris of Newnan; beloved dog, Bishop Roscoe; numerous nieces and nephews.
