Edward Holger Johnson, 98, of Cromwell, husband of Ruth (Woike) Johnson for 73 years, passed away on Thursday, February 12th at home surrounded by his family. Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late Ernest V. and Tillie (Johnson) Johnson. Ed lived most of his life in Cromwell and spent twenty five years in Vermont, worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 33 years retiring in 1973 and was a member of the Aircraft Association. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Esther Mancarella of Cromwell; a sister, Doris Kay of Charlotte, NC and his three grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Stanley and Frederick Johnson.
