Edward Hart Wendler, Sr.

 United States

  • Date Of Birth: February 28, 1942
  • Date Of Death: July 5, 2022
  • State: Massachusetts

Edward was born in Clinton MA, the youngest son of Clarence E and Laura (Dilling) Wendler, and like his brothers and sisters, grew up on the family farm.

Edward left school and went to work at an early age.

Edward had a passion for cars and motorcycles which he passed on to his children. Trips to New England Dragway were common and he always enjoyed sharing that experience with others. He also loved to fish and often went to Clamshell in Clinton with family and friends. Whether it was ice fishing in the winter, shore fishing in the summer or being out in his canoe, he just loved to fish and smoke his cigars (to keep the bugs away) If you were ever in the canoe, he had one rule, don’t bang the side of the canoe and make noise. If you did, you got “the look “.

As he got older he enjoyed the simple things in life like sitting on his deck, enjoying the warmth of the sun on his body and watch the birds.

Edward is survived by his children, Lisa Brecken, her husband Tim Brecken and son Nicholas of Marlboro Ma, his sons, Edward Wendler Jr also of Marlboro Ma. and his son Steven Wendler, his wife Kelly Wendler and their children Joshua and Rachael of Bolton Ma. and their mother Ellen Clark of Bolton Ma.

Edward is predeceased by his brother Clarence (Sam) Wendler and his wife Mary Wendler and recently his sister Beverly Gardner and her husband George Gardner
