MATTHEWSEdward H., age 92 of West Chester, formerly of Malvern and Boynton Beach, FL passed on February 21, 2019.Husband of 63 years to the late Elizabeth (nee Herman) and son of the late Ernest and Matilda Matthews, brother of the late Ernest and John Matthews, Julia Caldwell, Alice Matthews and Frances is survived by his sons, David and Ernest Matthews; his daughters, Nancy Woolard, Wendy Alter, and Mary Fetterman; his grandchildren Christopher and Benjamin Woolard, April Lindberg, Andrew and Kevin Fetterman, Elizabeth, Solomon, and Mark Alter, and Damian Matthews; his great grandchildren, Chase, Cole, and Cameron Woolard, Charley Magnolia Woolard, and Oliver was a retired bookkeeper from Doyle and McDonnell Landscaping in Berwyn. He volunteered at the Palm Tree for years which benefited the Paoli Hospital, and he regularly attended services at the Malvern Bible Chapel.
