WAKEFIELD – Edward “Glenn” Clark, 58, of Wakefield, MA, passed peacefully January 11, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA due to complications from lung cancer.
Glenn was born in Springfield, MA to the late Edward Orlow Clark III and Nancy Elizabeth Baldwin. Being the only son in the midst of four sisters, Glenn developed his sharp wit and brilliant sense of humor that served him well throughout his life and brought joy to so many.
He was a true New Englander growing up in Norwell, MA and Milford, CT where he enjoyed pursuing his musical interests as a hobby and he belonged to many “garage” bands through the years. Glenn spent most of his adult life in Wakefield, which was a very dear place to him.
Glenn was well known and beloved in the Mortgage Banking industry, most recently at Leaderbank and Mortgage Equity Partners where he brought his hard work ethic and gift of humor to those who worked with him.
He is survived by his sisters Susan Beasley of Chesapeake,VA, Sharon Birnberg of Denver, CO, Sandra Shields of Greensboro, NC and Sally Pratt of Newfields, NH. Family members also include uncle Dr. Mark Baldwin of Yakima, WA, aunt Julie Reitmeier, cousins Beth Corbin, Daniel Reitmeier of Franklin, NC and Chis Reitmeier of Traveler’s Rest, SC. Glenn was the proud uncle of five nieces and four nephews and six great-nieces and great-nephews.
Many thanks to Merrimack Valley Hospice and the staff at Highpointe House for their guidance and care.
