Edward Frederick Miller, Sr., 69, of Collomsville, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born Sept. 2, 1941 in Collomsville, he was a son of Frederick and Catherine Lorson Miller.
He had worked at Cobblers, retired from Bethlehem Steel, and had owned and operated Maynard St. Beverage. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and Army Reserves. Ed was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking (especially building bird houses), tinkering in his shed, hunting, and fishing. He was a fan of the Phillies and Cowboys and loved being a Pop to his 15 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Barbarann (Grunsby) Miller, six children and their families, Theresa Beiter (Joseph) of Williamsport and family Eric (Brooke), Carinne (Richonne, and great granddaughter Richai), Noah, Isaac, Sarina, and Evan; Tammatha Miller (Carey) of Medina, NY and family Zachary and Branden; Edward F. Miller, Jr. (Traci) of Loganton and family Austin and Kaitlyn; Trina Rinker (Joseph) of Jersey Shore and family Haley, Hayden, and Hayes; Tracy Bardo (John) of Jersey Shore and family Carlee, and Tara Lynn Miller (Paul) at home and family Alynna, four siblings Warren Miller, Ruth Danneker, Joseph Miller, Edna Rogers all of Collomsville, and mother-in-law Ruth Rogers of Minnesota.
