Mulberry – Edward Francis Greene, 63, passed away, at home, Friday, September 13, 2013, due to heart failure and other complications.
Mr. Greene was a loving husband, devoted father and a wonderful, caring man who left an impact on everyone he met. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. God chose to take another angel home.
Mr. Greene was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a jet aviation instrumentation specialist in Vietnam. After he was discharged from the Marine Corps, Mr. Greene went to work in the civilian field of instrumentation. He was employed by CF Industries, Conolog/AMJ and Universal Controls (Coca Cola Foods), as an instrumentation specialist. He started his own company, Evergreene Instrumentation and Controls, in 2001. Mr. Greene also taught instrumentation and controls at Traviss Career Center for 15 years.
Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Theresa Greene and his loving daughter, Jacqueline Greene. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Doris B. Greene; son Edward D. (Melinda Wood) Greene; daughter, Angela Greene (Dennis) Floyd; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Alicia Clayton – Clavie; and nephew, Louis Rodriguez.
