Edward F. Smith, Sr., of Willingboro passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Virtua Hospital, Willingboro at the age of 80. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA Ed was a longtime resident of Willingboro.
He was retired from Hillcrest Dairies in Croydon, PA, and was a member of the Mt. Holly Moose Lodge. In his spare time, he loved fishing and woodworking. He also enjoyed spending time at the lakes of the Penn Warner Club. His greatest love, however, was his family. He cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends. He also taught the meaning of unconditional love to those who knew him. Ed’s fun-loving personality will live on in those whose lives he touched-his spirit is now “somewhere over the rainbow.”
He is survived by his devoted wife Marie (nee Speece), his children: Kimberly Giberson, Edward F. Smith, Jr. (Donna), Mary Jo King (Ralph), Ricky Smith (Deanna), Rob Hodgson (Kelly), Frank Hodgson, Dave Hodgson (Melissa), fifteen grandchildren: Kalin, DJ, Chad, Bret, Kira, Ryan, Erin, Jordan, Sonya, Kierstyn, Tyler, Stephanie, Briana, Knol, and Kyle. Also, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
