Edward “Eddie” Jackson Davis, 60, of Spelter WV passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 after a brief illness.
He was born June 3, 1955 in Spelter, the son of the late John D. and Ada Bea Bunnell Davis. Eddie worked many years as a janitor. Eddie was a Baptist and was a member of the Chiefton Baptist Chapel. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all, he loved his family.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Edna “Janie” Sprouse Davis, one daughter, Ada Davis of Hepzibah; six sons, Donald Harper and companion, Natalie of Spelter, John Davis and wife Patty of Clarksburg, Johnny Sprouse and wife Janet of Clarksburg, Ed Davis of Clarksburg, Chad and Scott Davis of Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and several brothers, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by several brothers and a sisters.
