Edward Earl Peregoy, Jr., 84, of Glen Burnie, passed away on Friday, January 15th 2021. He was born April 17th 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Dorothy (Johnson) and Edward Earl Peregoy, Sr. Earl grew up in the house he built with his father on Hammonds Lane in Brooklyn Park, Maryland. He was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School. In 1954, he joined the United States Air Force and went to basic training at Simpson Air Force Base in New York. In 1962 he applied and was accepted to Officer Candidate School, Class 63A. Then he served at Tan San Nhut AFB, Saigon, Vietnam from September 1971 until September 1972. Earl proudly earned the Bronze Star and the Air Force Commendation Medal. He went on to retire as a Captain with over 20 years of military service. After that Earl earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, and worked various jobs before retiring from Federal Civil Service. He spent his time volunteering, teaching photography and genealogy. Earl and his first wife, Virginia Eleanor (Kelley) had ten children. They were very active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  

Earl is predeceased by his first wife of 51 years, Virginia, his son, Steven, and his brother, Donald. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Yvonne, who he married in May 2009, his children, Linda, Beth, Deanna, Susan, Kelley, Patricia, Jason, Jared, Mariah, Julie, Charles, and his sister, Jean. Along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other “adopted”/foster children along the way. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
