Edward D. Reilly, 48, of Toms River, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at his home. Ed proudly served his country working for the US Navy as an Aviation Electricians Mate First Class Petty Officer. Before retiring in 2006, Ed received many awards, including but not limited to, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and Navy Unit Commendation.
He is predeceased by his parents Francis and Margaret Reilly, his four brothers Francis, Kevin, William and Dwayne Reilly and his nephew Scott Miick. Ed is survived by is his loving sister Kate Miick and her husband Rich, his brother Michael, his sister-in-law Valerie and his step-mother Patricia. He will be deeply missed by his nephews Adam Miick and Shane Reilly, Uncle Arthur, Uncle Marty and Aunt Belle, many cousins and friends. Ed will always be remembered by the men who served with him as a Great Sailor, a Great Leader and most of all a Great Friend.
