Edward C. Woodruff, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 25, 2017. He was born on April 27, 1940 to the late Cornelius and Verbal Rankin Woodruff in Henderson, Kentucky. Edward was employed at Republic Steel as foreman for over 40 years.
Edward is survived by his children Glenn, Jacquese and Eric Woodruff; grandchildren Mikael, Johnathan, Jaden, Jaylen, Aniya, Monique, Molly; ex-wife and lifelong friend Jacqueline Brown; sister Bernice Hairlson-Robinson; nephews Donald Hairlson, Melvin Hines; niece Melodi Hines; and several great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in passing by his parents and sister Josephine Woodruff.
