Edward C. Visco

July 19, 1948 – July 06, 2014

Leominster – Edward C. Visco, 65 of Leominster, died July 6, 2014, at UMass, Worcester, after a long illness. Ed was born in Fitchburg, July 19, 1948. The son of Mellow Visco and Mary Kittredge. He graduated St. Bernard’s High in 1967 and then went on to serve his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Ed played an instrumental part in the implementation of the USA coffee house movement to support the Veteran’s Against the War. Locally he implemented the Northernlights coffee house that supported the careers of many local musicians. He served and volunteered on several boards and community organizations, including Fitchburg Unitarian Church/Sundial Building, Fitchburg Cultural Alliance, LATV, NEEDS, and Disabled Veterans.
He is survived by his new bride and dear friend of 20+ years, Lynn “Vicki” Warner, of Leominster.
Ed leaves behind his former wife, Debbie Guadagnoli, son Joshua Visco, daughter Sara Visco, siblings; Mary Visco and Nick Baroloni, Kathy Koba, Martha Visco, Caroline Belleveau and Henry Belleveau, Nieces and Nephews: James Thomas, Jennifer Thomas, Matthew Belleveau, Daniel Belleveau (grand-niece Molly and grand-nephew, Ethan).
