Edward Bruce Propheter, 69, of Cromwell, beloved husband of Anita (Smith) Propheter, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 surrounded by his family at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Jamestown, NY, he was the son of the late Frederick S. Propheter and Muriel (Robbins) Yeager. Bruce lived in Cromwell for over thirty-five years and owned and operated Pro Plastics, Inc. in Cromwell. He was a veteran serving in the United States Navy. Bruce loved his pets, enjoyed playing golf and was someone who was always willing to help people. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, John Haglund and his wife, Soraya of Cromwell and Lynn Etheridge and her husband, Mark of Middlefield; two brothers, Charles Propheter of Rocky Hill and Win Propheter of Jamestown, NY and three grandchildren, Joshua and Megan Etheridge and Paul Haglund. Bruce was also predeceased by a brother, Frederick Propheter, Jr. and a sister, Cynthia Migliorni.
