Reverend Edward BlackReverend Edward Black, 69, of Centralia, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.Reverend Black was born on December 17, 1944, in East Saint Louis, IL, a son to John and Dora (McCloud) Black. He served in the United States Navy before working as a school bus driver for Centralia schools for over 20 years and serving as a minister.
He is survived by three sons; Edward Joshua Black and wife Kara of Centralia, IL, Eddie Black and wife Nita of Phoenix, AZ, and Andre Black of Phoenix, AZ; four daughters, Sheryl Lawary of Phoenix, AZ, Amber White and husband Bradley of Centralia, IL, Camille Darden of Centralia, IL, and Ashley Bailey of Springfield, IL; five brothers, Charles Black, Lester Black, William Black, John Black, and Benjamin Black; seven sisters, Katrina Adams, Dessie White, Felecia Black, Legale Tzedek-Mishpat, Angela Black, Renee Black, and Alicia Black; and fourteen grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Black Jr.; and one sister, Theresa Black.
