Edward Albert Konczak Sr., 63, of Oglesby, passed away, surrounded by his family, on the afternoon of Saturday, October 9, 2021 at St. Margaret’s Health in Spring Valley.
Ed was born December 4, 1957 in LaSalle to Raymond and Darlene (Washkowiak) Konczak. He married Debra Kay St. Germaine on June 26, 1981 in Ottawa.
Ed loved his children and adored his grand babies and great-grand babies. He loved spending time in his garden.
He is survived by seven children, Diane (Brian) Faull, of Oglesby, Dawn (Scott) Tregoning, of Peru, Edward (Erin) Konczak, of Oglesby, James (Ashley) Konczak, of Oglesby, Jessica Konczak, of Oglesby, Mary (Jonah) Spradling, of Oglesby, and Susan Konczak, of Oglesby, 12 grandbabies, Ashlie, John, Christopher, Kayla, Jordan, Allie, Grayson, Camden, Andrew, Hannah, Nora, and Ivan; four great-grandbabies, Jaxon, Kayden, Edward, and Alethea; and eight siblings, Robert, Raymond, Roy, Andy, Lilly, Doreen, Lori, and Tommy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra on January 26, 2019; his parents; and a sister, Mary Ann.
