Mr. Moon was a graduate of Westfield Academy and Miami University of Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Trinidad.
Mr. Moon was co-owner and vice-president of Mer-Del Quality Frozen Foods.
Survivors include his wife, Betty R.; along with several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Moon was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Amos Moon; one brother, Dana Moon; and two sisters, Charlotte Tripp and Eleanor Moon.
