Edward A “Tibby” Courtemanche, Sr., age 75 , passed away at Wuestoff Medical Center with loving family by his side on May 25, 2017. Ed was born on August 14, 1941 in Nashua, New Hampshire. Son of the late Tressa and Normand Courtemanche. He retired from North Kingstown Police Department to help run the family business. Normand’s Restaurant, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. He then accepted a management position at Burger King prior to relocating to Merritt Island Florida. Once in the sunshine state he worked for the Port Authority, Port Canaveral. Although Eddie was a Florida resident for over 20 years, he was a lifetime New England Patriots Fan.. He was a devoted husband and father.
Tibby is survived by his Loving Wife, Katherine Huested Courtemanche; Children, Edward Adelard (Sandra) Courtemanche, Jr of Largo, Florida, Tina Marie (David) Andrews of Coventry, Rhode Island; Douglas (Doreen) Courtemanche of West Warwick, Rhode Island, Kim Ann McKenna of Cranston, Rhode Island; Grandchiildren, Ryan, Kristen, Nicole, David, Brittany, Rachel, Alexandra, Joseph, Kayla and Michael; Great Grandchildren, Warrick, Delaney and Maddox; Sisters, Sharon Collette of Madison, Ohio, Norma Lynne Welitoff of South Kingstown, Rhode Island; Brother, Scott Nicolas Courtemanche of Newington, Connecticut.
