Edward A. Rosenthal, 88, of New Britain passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at The Hospital of Central CT, New Britain. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Gorski) Rosenthal for 63 years. Ed was born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Augustine and Emily (Karpeij) Rosenthal and a lifelong resident. He was a member of Holy Cross Church and the Holy Name Society. Ed was a member of the Polish Falcon Nest #88; the Knights of Columbus, New Britain Council and the AARP of Plainville. He was a decorated U.S. Navy veteran; he served his country honorably during World War II. Ed was a professional bowler in the New England Professional Bowler Association. He is survived by his loving wife Helen and his sons Robert E. Rosenthal and his wife Rita of Easton, MA and Gary E. Rosenthal and his wife Donna of Morristown, NJ. He also leaves his four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Ed leaves his brother Anthony Rosenthal and his wife Regina of New Britain.
