Edward A. Granke, 63, of Three Oaks, Michigan died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, April 28, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.
Ed was born May 27, 1951 in Benton Harbor to Ernie and Patricia (Reese) Granke. He attended New Troy School and graduated from River Valley High School.
He was called to serve his country in the US Navy as a Boiler Technician during the Vietnam War, earning 2 Bronze Stars. On February 14, 1975 he married Dennise Benhart in Bridgman, Michigan. They made their home in Three Oaks.
Ed was employed for Lakeland Medical Center where he was a loyal employee, working in maintenance and providing for his family. Ed enjoyed NASCAR, model trains, fishing, and his faithful dogs. He was a member of the Real Life Community Church in Three Oaks. He loved his family and would do anything he could to help them.
Survivors include his wife, Dee; parents, Ernie and Patricia of Sawyer; children, Nicholas (Bridget) Granke of Three Oaks; Steven (Patricia) Hoskins of Berrien Springs, Michigan and Michalle (Joe) Reynolds of Galien, Michigan; grandchildren, Kailee, Joey, Alexis, Dylon, Mary, and Emily and sister in law Sue Granke of Three Oaks.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Granke on April 13, 2015.
