Eduardo G. Zavala Sr., 65, went to be with the Lord Friday afternoon , October 19, 2018 at Solara Hospital.
Eduardo was born in Cotter, Missouri on October 5, 1953 and had lived in Harlingen most of his life. He was an operator machinist for Velcon Filters. Eduardo loved to barbeque, enjoyed fishing, and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Romana Zavala.
Eduardo is survived by his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his beloved wife, Gloria R. Zavala; son, Eduardo Zavala Jr. (Miroslava); daughter, Sarah Zavala (Linda Rios) & grandpa to his furbaby, weenie dog, Twinks; sisters, Lupe Herrera, Janie Garcia (Cecilio), & Carmen Ovalle (Jacinto), and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, & friends. Eduardo was a wonderful dad & uncle who will be greatly missed.
