Edric “Ed” Landon Wilde died at University of Utah Health Care Hospital, surrounded by family, on November 17, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was 72 years old. Ed was born on May 19, 1945 in Missoula, MT to his parents, Myron and Eveline (Landon) Wilde.
Ed married Sherrie Johnson on December 12, 1980 in Carey, ID. They lived there on a sheep farm where they raised a daughter and son, Tiffanie and Tyler. They owned a sheep shearing business in which Ed managed a crew servicing the Western States. He logged house logs and firewood during the time between shearing seasons.
Ed is survived by his wife, Sherrie Wilde; his brother Calvin (Shirley) Wilde; his step-sister Christine Storey; his daughter Raynay (Jack) Shetler; his daughter Tiffanie (Ryan) Gates; his son Tyler Wilde; and his grandchildren Benjamin and Mattie Shetler and Vanessa, Trista, Natalia, and Senica Gates.
Ed is proceeded in death by his parents, Myron Wilde, Eveline Bateman, and his step-mother Norma Wilde; his sister Glenda Wilde; and his brother Basil Wilde.
Ed served in the Army National Guard.
