Edna Glenice Blevins, 82, of Violet Hill, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, October 15, 2018 at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Arkansas.
She was born in Sturkie, Arkansas on July 23, 1936, daughter of the late J. O. and Cleo (McClain) Kinder. Edna spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Edna worked in the medical field for many years and was dedicated to healthcare.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Cathy McCartney and husband Jamie of Ferriday, Louisiana; sons, Jackie Hammond of Sturkie, Arkansas, Kelly Hammond of Salem, Arkansas; step-son Ted and LeAnn Blevins of Viola, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Blevins, parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
