Two tired eyes are sleeping, Two willing hands are still. For one who suffered far too much, Is resting in God’s will. You never said good bye to us, For perhaps it’s just as well. We never could have said good bye, To one we loved so well.

On Wednesday February 10, 2016 our mom Edna Whitford Sund, 68, left us to join loved ones who have gone before us.

She was born January 30, 1948 to Jess and Anna Whitford in Columbus, Montana. She was raised in a very large family in Reedpoint, Montana. After graduation from Reedpoint she met and later married Raymond Sund on April 14, 1967.

Mom and dad lived and worked in various towns in Montana, but mainly Reedpoint, Big Timber, Columbus (where they raised us kids) and then finally retiring in Laurel.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, daughter Sandra Rae, brothers Henry and Chuck, and her sister Jessie.

She leaves behind her son James (Angie) of Laurel, daughter Boni (Joe) Garcia of Laurel, two granddaughters Chantel (Jason) of Ogden, Utah and USMC LCpl Kristina Garcia of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, grandson Jacob of Laurel, one step-grandson Jesse (Tara) Garcia of San Diego, California, three great-granddaughters of Ogden, Utah, two sister’s Boots, Leila (Alan), three brothers Harold (Betty), Gary (Charlene) and Richard as well as many nieces and nephews. One very special niece was Shelly Ann, who was always close to mom and dad’s heart.
