Edna Earl Roberts
April 4, 1938 – October 5, 2021 Edna Earl Roberts, 83, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Ayden, North Carolina, on October 5, 2021. She was born in 1938 in Raleigh, North Carolina, the daughter of James Odell Raspberry and Willie Beatrice Raspberry.
Edna enjoyed music, dancing and was an excellent cook. Upon her retirement, she also began gardening and taking swim classes at the local pool. Edna often spent hours on her front porch chatting with her many friends and neighbors. She took great pride in her beautifully decorated home where she surrounded herself with butterflies, a symbol of hope and rebirth.
Edna Earl Roberts was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Adrienne Y. Roberts and her devoted partner, Jesse Quinerly, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Kevin Shepherd; her son James Roberts Jr.
