Edna Deloris Altig, 81, of Caldwell, Idaho, passed away on August 31, 2022.
Edna was born July 10, 1941 in Dora, Missouri, to Hollis and Eunice (Mayberry) Eagans. Edna was the second oldest of fourteen siblings. She graduated from Caldwell High School in 1959. Edna had various part-time jobs at Grand Central, a Hallmark store, a tanning salon, Daylight Donuts, and Meridian Speedway. Edna married Verner Altig on July 31, 1965 and her full time job was that of a wife and mother.
Survivors include her children: Kim Street; David (BettyAnn) Street; Patti (Michael) Donovan; Valerie Altig; and Jason Altig; her daughter-in-law Tuesday Altig; her grandchildren: Ariah Street; Connor Street (Shabrea); Austin Altig; Tommy Donovan; Patrick Donovan; Michael Donovan; Sean Donovan; Joe Altig, Jr.
Edna loved to send cards of all types to her family and friends. Everyone is welcome to bring a card for Edna that will be placed in her casket just for her to read.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Verner Altig, her sons Danny Ray Street and Joseph Altig, her grandsons Joshua Bleau Wood and Zachariah David Street, her brothers Edward Eagans, Roy Eagans, Leon Eagans, David James Eagans and Timothy George Eagans, and her sisters Sue Olsen and Eulah Woodard.
