Edna Cecile Jacobsen passed away on July 13, 2010 at the age of 91. She resided at Good Samaritan Society Boise Village where she passed away peacefully. Edna Jacobsen was born January 3, 1919 to Louis and Avis Grossaint in Malta, Montana. Edna spent the majority of her life in the Treasure Valley and in North Idaho, where she loved to go fishing with her grandkids and spend a lot of time with family. She loved travel, the outdoors, working in her yard and taking short walks with her dog.
Edna is survived by three of her four children: Marie Gillespie of Boise, Patricia Grandfield of Boise, and Terry Peltonen of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; a sister, Beverly Buster of Boise; and a brother, Earl Grossaint of Boise. Edna has sex grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Avis, and two brothers, Louise and Ray Grossaint. Her oldest son, Louise Reed, passed away in December of 2009.
Edna will be missed by her friends and family. She was very much loved.
