WINSTED – Edna Angus, 98, passed away on February 3, 2022. She was the wife of the late William Angus for 69 years. Born February 23, 1923 in New Hartford; the daughter of the late George and Eva (Cote) Root. Edna served in the United States Army. She worked for the Winsted Memorial Hospital and as a Home Healthcare Aide for many years. She loved Bingo. She is survived by her children, Robert Angus and Sandra Partelow, both of Winsted; grandchildren, Neil Machowski, Dawn Oliveri, Tammy Piercy and Janelle Partelow; great grandchildren, Adam Lagassie, Cailyn Lagassie, Chance Lagassie, Nathan Piercy, Benjamin Piercy, Jayden Machowski, Damien Piercy, Illiana Covertier and Jovannie Covertier; great great grandchildren, Archarod Pease and Arullia Pease. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two grandchildren, Ricky Lagassie and Angela Lagassie.
