Edmund J. Botelho, age 89, died peacefully at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth on January 17, 2019. He was the devoted husband of Naomi (Nunes-Andrade) Botelho. Born in Plymouth, MA on April 21, 1929, he was a son of the late Manuel and Gloria C. (Marks) Botelho. He was educated in Plymouth Schools and he had served in the US Army as a corporal during the Korean Conflict. Eddie had worked for the Plymouth Cordage Company as a machinist for over 18 years and later for General Dynamics Quincy Shipyard until retiring in 1986. He continued working, after his retirement from the shipyard as a custodian for the Plymouth Public Schools. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending countless evenings out dancing with his wife Naomi. He was an avid sports fan cheering on the NY Yankees, Boston Celtics, Patriots and Bruins. Most importantly, he had a love and devotion for his wife and daughter Robin that extended throughout the entire family. He will be truly missed.Besides leaving his beloved wife Naomi, He leaves his daughter Robin and her husband Marc Fitzpatrick. He was the cherished grandfather of Kayla Feldman, the late Cameron Fitzpatrick, Rylie Fitzpatrick, and Ryan Fitzpatrick. He also leaves his great-granddaughter Saylor Cameron Feldman. Eddie was the brother of Olivia Gabbett and was predeceased by siblings Nancy Rainville, Mary Simmons, Arlene Smith, Joseph Botelho, John Botelho, Frank Botelho, and David Botelho.
