Edmund J. Donahue, 66 of Milford, beloved husband of Kathy Donahue passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the VA Hospital. Born on August 13, 1945 in New Haven, he was the son of the late Edmund J. and Margaret Cavanaugh Donahue. Edmund proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Edmund proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was known for being an enthusiastic fan of the NY Yankees as well as his love of drawing, and will be remembered for being a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his loving wife, Kathy, he is survived by his daughter, Laura Donahue of East Haven; three sisters Margaret McNeely of Orlando, FL, Eleanor Ullrich of Shelton, Beverly Burke of West Haven; three grandchildren Felecia Donahue, Andrew Garcia and Joshua Donahue as well as several loving nieces and nephews.
