Edmund C. Burke, 89, of Manasquan, (formerly of Middletown) passed away November 2, 2016. He was born in Elizabeth to the late William Burke and Lucy (Currall).
He was a graduate of St. Benedicts’ Prep. and the College of William and Mary.
Edmund proudly served in his country during WWII in the Merchant Marines and again during the Korean War in the US Army. He worked in the advertising industry for Time Inc., Conde Nast Publications and American Banker/Bond Buyer. Edmund was a member of Navesink C.C. and PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl.
He is pre-deceased by his sister Claire Teeter and brother William F. Burke Jr.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 60 years, Betty and his loving daughter Allyson Burke.
