Edithe Lois Daugherty
Edithe Lois (Duffield) Daugherty, 93, died on March 16, 2010 at the Lucas County Health Center. Edithe was born in Chariton on December 23rd, 1916 to A.T. and Goldie (Vickroy) Duffield. She was one of eight children. She met Harold L Daugherty and married in 1934. She worked at several businesses in and around Chariton. She owned her own shop “This & That”
She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her brother, Dean Duffield; sister, Joan Farrell; and her children, Joyce Probasco, June Kline and Harold (Hank) and (wife) Beverly Daugherty, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
