Edith W. (Metheny) Trout 74, of Kingwood (Kanes Creek community), entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born on October 2, 1938 in Irona, WV, a daughter of the late James Chester and Ida Marie Metheny. She was a member of the World Wide Church of God. She is survived by seven children and their spouses: Joseph and Julie Trout of Louisville, KY; Rose and James Musgrave of Arlington, VA; Tina Trout of Kingwood; Mary Sue and Stuart Cale of Independence; Ben Trout of Charleston; Sean Trout of Pittsburgh; and Trina and Travis Field of Independence; four grandchildren; Jonathan, Kayla, and Rebecca Cale, and John Robert Shield; one great-grandchild; Bailey Field; and two sisters; Betty Hovatter and Mary Hockaday. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Harold Trout in 2008; three brothers; Jimmy, Johnny, and Dick Metheny, and one sister, Sadie.
