Edith Naomi Ricker, 93, of Anderson, passed away on April 11, 2013 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus Anderson. She was born on December 4, 1919 in Madison County, and resided most of her life in Anderson. Naomi graduated from Ball State University.
She is a retired elementary art teacher for Anderson Community Schools. She was an avid bridge player, and enjoyed traveling, including several trips to Europe. Naomi is survived by her two sons, Greg Celia Ricker of Middletown and John Stephen Cathy Bolander Ricker of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Scot Amy Ricker, Mericke Rick Bennett, Chris Bobbie Ricker and Derek Teresa Ricker; four step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Ricker; father, William E. Gregory; mother, Nola Gregory; and her sister, Betty Bowers.
