Mrs. Edith McIntyre, age 93, of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at her home with her family at her side.

Edith was born on August 22, 1921 in Clarksburg a daughter of the late Bob and Elizabeth Wood Everson. She worked for Anchor Hocking for 44 years before her retirement. After retirement, Edith got very involved in the CVN and 700 Club giving faithfully and monetarily to the organizations. She was also involved in the Harrison County Senior Citizens Center, and member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. In her spare time she loved quilting, crocheting, loving her kids and sharing stories of the Bible with them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frances McIntyre and brother Robert Everson.

She is survived by great-niece, Jean Murphy, of Clarksburg; great-great nephews, Frank Anthony Scalise, Jr., of Clarksburg, and John Watson, Jr., of Beckley; great-great-niece, Angel Scalise, of Ohio; several other relatives also survive.
