Mrs. Edith Burgess Nolen, age 88, of Newnan died October 31, 2011. She was born March 11, 1921 in Alabama and was the daughter of the late James Elias and Minnie Kate Young Burgess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Ed Nolen and a son Edwin Eugene Nolen. Mrs. Nolen is survived by her son Joe Nolen; her grandchildren, Brad Nolen and his wife Michelle and Mitchell Nolen. Her great grandchildren are Maddie and Grayson Nolen. Also surviving are her siblings Shirley Yarbrough, Billy Burgess and Meryle Hinesley.
