Edith Marie Haire, 79 of Lake City, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. She was born in Dade City, Florida to the late Herman and Eva Belcher Law. Mrs. Haire retired to Lake City in 2006 and had previously been a longtime resident of Clewiston, Florida. She worked for many years at both the Clewiston Middle and High School.
Survivors include her two daughters, Tammy Haire Garrett (Mickey), Lake City and Crystal Haire McCray (Mabry), Clewiston; two sisters, Ernestine Bales, Lake City and Doris Warner, Live Oak; one brother, Dwight Law (Frankie), Wellborn; five grandchildren, Adam Haire (Brianna) and Keegan Garrett all of Lake City, Joel McCray (Kathy), Gainesville and Noah McCray and Caroline McCray both of Clewiston; three great-grandchildren, Jasper, Jemma and Jensen Haire; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
