Edith M. Fowler (Nee Southard) of Burlington passed away on Thursday April 19, 2018 at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly surrounded by her loved ones.
She was 93. Born on July 17, 1924 in Bordentown, NJ. She was a lifetime resident of the Burlington County area. Edith had various jobs including working for 3 chain toy manufacturing companies in Burlington for over 15 years. She belonged to both Mt. Holly and Burlington Township Senior Citizens Groups. She enjoyed reading, building puzzles, word puzzle books, and crafts.
Her passion was crocheting and giving away her hand made creations for others to enjoy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Leonard Fowler Sr., her son Leonard Fowler Jr., her brother James Southard, her daughter-in-law Louise Fowler and son-in-law Robert Moeller. Edith is survived by her children James Fowler and Ruthann Moeller; her 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, a niece Margaret Slocum and nephew James Southard.
