Born July 18, 1914, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Alva and Snow Cullen Hayworth. She was married Dec. 25, 1935, to Lester Wissinger, who preceded in death Nov. 10, 1986.
A 1932 graduate of Logansport High School, Mrs. Wissinger had been employed at RBM Manufacturing and with Eloise DeGrief in making draperies and home furnishings.
Surviving are one son, Larry Wissinger and his wife, Marsha, Logansport; grandchildren, Kari Friskey and her husband, Matt, Logansport, and Kami Heuston, Kokomo; three great-granddaughters, Riley Friskey, Kierra Bronson and Kalana Heuston; one sister, Jane Palmer, Granville, Mich.; and a nephew, R.J. Palmer and his wife, Bobbi, Fountain Hills, Ariz.
One son, Charles H. “Chuck” Wissinger, and one daughter, Janie Kay Wissinger, preceded in death.
