Edith L. Bilodeau, 72, of Bristol, beloved wife of Joseph D. Bilodeau, Jr., died Monday (January 14, 2008) at Bristol Hospital.
She was born November 12, 1935 in Bristol, daughter of the late Alfred and Fannie (Avery) Swanson. A lifelong resident of Forestville and Bristol, Edith was employed at the former Mott’s Supermarket and later for ShopRite Supermarket for many years until her retirement.
Besides her husband, Joseph, she is survived by her son, David R. Bilodeau of Southington; her five grandchildren, David H. Bilodeau, Desireé H. Bilodeau, Danielle H. Bilodeau, Dustin H. Bilodeau, and Aiyana J. Bilodeau; and her brother, Norman Swanson of Marlborough. She was pre-deceased by her two sisters and three brothers, Evelyn Misluck, Doris Gustafson, Bill Swanson, Harold “Butch” Swanson, and Eddie Swanson.
