Edith Harriet (Cogswell) Boivin, 94, of Cromwell, wife of the late Philip Warren Boivin for over sixty years, passed away on Saturday, April 7th at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Grafton, MA she was the daughter of the late Francis and Helen (Hill) Cogswell. Edith graduated from State Teachers College in Worchester, MA and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in education from Fairfield University in Connecticut. When her education was completed she worked as an elementary and special education teacher at Wolfpit Elementary School in Norwalk.
