Edith G. Rosenberger, 92, of Mendon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at the Blaire House of Milford.  She was the beloved wife to the late Richard F. Rosenberger who died in 2012.

Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Beaulah (Boyns) Gagnon and was raised and educated in Worcester.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Rosenberger was employed as a bookkeeper for Home National Bank.  She held several finance positions in banking throughout the years.  The first being at Worcester County Institution for Savings, where she met her husband in 1955.

She enjoyed traveling to Europe and specifically the Black Forest with her husband, where they maintained an apartment for several years after the death of her sister-in-law, Hedi Hofmann.

Edith is survived by her children, Heidi Wheeler and her husband Gary of Mendon and her son, Richard Rosenberger of Leominster; seven grandchildren, Gary Wheeler, Jr. and his wife, Jessica, Ashley and her husband, Nicholas, Kassandra, and Jillian Wheeler, and Nykolas, Derrick, and Cameron Rosenberger; and her great-grandchildren, Brienna, Nolan and Madison, and Gavin and Kelsey and Scarlet.  She is also survived by a sister, Nancy Olson of Connecticut.  

She is predeceased by a son, Hans Rosenberger, one brother, Stanley Gagnon and her sisters, Barbara Clifford and Jean Moe.
