Edith Ellen McClure Reeves, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Saturday June 20, 2020, at Barry Community Care Center in Barry, IL.
Edith was born July 19, 1942, in Ashland, the daughter of Lewis Harrison McClure and Edith Ethel Miller McClure.
Edith was joined in marriage November 7, 1959, to Junior Kenneth Reeves.
Edith is proceeded in death by her parents, Lewis and Edith; husband Junior; four brothers, James McClure, Johnny McClure, Tommy McClure, and Louis McClure; three sisters, Melissa Cox, Mary Guffey, and Deanie Chapman; two children, Lester Kenneth and Jefferey Michael; two grandchildren, Janai Reeves and Lucas Harmon; and 1 great grandchild.
Edith is survived by a sister Sue Cox of Lebanon, MO; three children, Benjamin Lewis Reeves (Jani, wife) of St. George, UT, Amanda Ellen Hall (Ron, husband) of Bluffs, and Luella Grace Reeves (Bradley Harmon, s.o.) of Richland, MO; six grandchildren, Terril Reeves of Kearns, UT, Kai Reeves (Izabelle) of Salt Lake City, UT, and Christin Waid (Dennis) of Griggsville, Erin Hall of Bluffs, IL, Ryan Hall (Claire) of Pittsfield, IL, and Preston Harmon of Richland, MO; and six great grandchildren, Jalynn Reeves of St. George, UT, Landon, Zoe, and Hunter Waid all of Griggsville, Karina Harmon of Richland, MO, and Sylas Fisher of Bluffs.
Edith retired as a CNA from Scott County Nursing Home in Winchester. She loved spending time with her family, especially spoiling and playing with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
