Edith C. (Peart) Metcalfe, 83, of Oglesby, passed away, Friday, January 24, 2020 at St. Margaret’s Hospital, Spring Valley. Mrs. Metcalfe was born July 7, 1936 in Kankakee to George and Viola (Baker) Peart. She married Clarence Metcalfe, Sr., on May 5, 1965, in Chicago Heights. She was a homemaker, loved quilting, playing bingo and painting. She is survived by her children, Kathy Pabian of Oglesby, April (Gregory) McDermott of Oglesby, Clarence (Sarah) Metcalfe, Jr. of Roosevelt, UT and Joseph Metcalfe of Oglesby; 7 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; parents, 3 brothers; 9 sisters and a son-in-law Dan Pabian.
