Mrs. Edith M. (Bernardi) Orsini Bozonelos, 81, of Peru passed away May 6, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Bozonelos was born on May 25, 1934 in LaSalle to Lindo Joseph and Alvina (Heitmann) Bernardi. She married Donald Orsini on April 28, 1957 in the Queen of Holy Rosary Church, LaSalle. He passed away in 1966. She later married Bob Bozonelos in 1979 in Las Vegas. He passed away in 2007.
She was a bookkeeper for her three businesses, Orsini and Son News Agency, Vogue Dress and Beauty Salon and B and E Floor Coverings and was also a nanny for her grandchildren. She was a member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, LaSalle, LaSalle Civic Womens Club and VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by he two sons, Greg (Christy Hanly) Orsini of McKinleyville, CA and Don Orsini of Peru; 5 grandchildren , Hannah Orsini, Katherine Orsini, Jacquelyn Orsini, Logan Orsini and Wyatt Orsini; two great-grandchildren, Dominic and Violette Orsini; three sisters, Linda (Kent) Koehler of Peru, Joyce (Tom) Harzheim of Peru and Nancy (Jim) Gherardini of Mesa, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; Donald Orsini and Bob Bozonelos; and two sisters, Dolores Nevitt and Diane Bernardoni.
