Edith B. Braham Andrews, 87 of Newburg, formerly of Independence passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016. She was born March 25, 1928 in Brownton, WV (Barbour County), daughter of the late James “Ace” and Viola Shultz Braham. Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In her younger years she loved singing and playing guitar as well as making her own clothes and later on the clothes of her children. She is survived by four children; Clinton W. Andrews and wife Donna of Grafton; Joyce L. Cole of Newburg; Debora S. Murray and husband Johnny of Fellowsville and Wanda L. Scheuch and husband Mark of Independence. Four grandchildren; Joshua E. Murray and wife Kerri of Lynden, WA; John W. Murray and wife Tonya of Morgantown; Markie Scheuch and Amanda Roy of Grafton; and Jessica Murray of Fellowsville. One great granddaughter; Riley Murray of Morgantown and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Clinton “Clint” Andrews; son-in-law Roy Eugene “Gene” Cole; a brother Stanley W. Braham and a sister Virginia M. Uphold as well as nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The family wishes to express a heartfelt “Thanks” to everyone that showed Edith love and kindness during her final years.
