Edith A. (Turenne) Mackey, age 84 and a lifelong resident of Danvers passed away peacefully on October 28, 2013. She was the loving wife of Elias J. Mackey with whom she shared sixty-three years of marriage. Born December 28, 1928 she was the daughter of Henry and Mabel (Stevens) Turenne. Edith was a graduate of the Holten High School and later assisted her husband with the family business. She was a homemaker and mother to five boys. Vincent, Timothy, Jeffrey, Kenneth and his partner Chris McDonough, Daniel and his wife Krista and two close family members Kathy and Sandy Mackey. Her greatest joy was being part of the St. Mary of the Annunciation parish.
