Long time Boise resident E. Lester Hopkins Jr. 77, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008 at St. Al’s Hospital. Lester was born in Logan, UT on Oct. 16, 1931 to Edgar Lester and Grace (Allen) Hopkins.
Lester is survived by his wife of 53 years, Olive R. (Hunt) Hopkins; and six children, Susan, Gayle (Richard), Bryan (Karina), Cynthia (Edward), Leslie (Greg), James (Lisa); as well as 19 grandchildren;15 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dale and Terry Hopkins. Lester loved family reunions–and we look forward to our next reunion with him.
