Edgar Carl “Professor” Henson

1942 – 2009

 

Edgar Carl “Professor” Henson, age 67, of Mary Esther, Fla. passed away at a local hospital on November 15, 2009. He was born on January 13, 1942 in Delaware, Penn.

 

He has been a resident of the area for many years. He honorably served his country for over 20 years in the United States Air Force. After retirement, he taught in the Okaloosa County School System and also retired. He especially liked eating out daily with his friends, especially Gary, Chief Jennings, Bridgette, and John, and anyone else wishing for a good time and meal. He also enjoyed all sporting events, entertainment, and socializing. He was a member of JOPPA Masonic Lodge #7 in Fort Walton Beach. He was always a very helpful individual, always wanting to help anyone in need. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, whom will be greatly missed by family and friends.

 

Edgar is survived by his wife, Edna; children Jacklyn Thompson, Donna, Tony, and Titus; and a host of loving grandchildren.
